'SPLITS' at the Embassy of Croatia, Conway Street, London W1T 6 BN

The British Croatian Society presents SPLITS, an installation of painted sculptures by emerging artist Stephanie Douet.
Nine highly patterned and colourful lifesize sculptures occupy the reception room of the Croatian Embassy. In autumn 2023 Douet travelled as an artist-tourist to Split, reliving the Grand Tour journeys of Edward Lear, Robert Adam and Byron. Roaming the ancient city sketching, snapping, reading and chatting, Douet ate up Split and spat it out as a sculptural album of mementos.
